Members of the basic family
Mean a family from your own bloodline when I say “basic family.”

The phrase “extended family” refers to family members who are not related to you by blood but who become your family members once you marry.
- Stepfather => (a person who is married to the mother of a child but is not the child’s biological father)
- Son-in-law => (husband of one’s daughter)
- Stepson => (a son from a previous marriage of one’s husband or wife)
- Brother-in-law => (brother of one’s wife or husband)
- Father-in-law => (father of one’s husband or wife)
- Co sister => (wife of your husband’s brother)
